My SWP BRZ "Huggie" lol
Figured its about time I make a journal for myself. The term "Huggie" came from my girlfriend haha. I think its self explanatory but she thinks the car "hugs" turns so well, as well as the seats. Therefore "Huggie". I don't really name my car so this is what will stick for now. She named my old STi Frosty because when I first bought it, it had the green lighting inside along with the red cluster, and my car was white so it reminded her of christmas and frosty the snowman.
My old STi: ANYways.. Mods so far are the following: Engine: ARK GRiP Catback Exhaust EcuTek JDL UEL Turbo Kit - GTX2867r Upgrade - All chrome Intercooler piping - Chrome Compressor housing - Titanium coated downpipe, UEL Turbo Manifold, Overpipe and front pipe - Wastegate, BOV, Intake all AN fittings JDL Slim Fan Shroud JDL 3" Overpipe/frontpipe combo GrimmSpeed Hood Struts Grimmspeed EBCS Solenoid - Converted AN fittings Grimmspeed Battery Tie Down Grimmspeed Oil Cap Password:JDM CF Engine Cover Password:JDM CF Engine Pulley Cover (New) Password: JDM Engine Dressup Bolt Kit Deastchwerks 700cc Injectors Deastchwerks 65c Fuel Pump Prime Motoring Flex Fuel Kit OEM Forester XT Oil Cooler Setup STi Engine Mounts Radium Dual Catch can setup (OLD) Innovate Supercharger, Intercooled 70mm Pulley (OLD) Genome Tuning Resonator Plug (OLD) Nameless Performance SS Intake Tube Suspension/Handling: FT86SpeedFactory Tower Bars - custom Chromed AirLift Performance Air Struts AutoPilot V2 Air Management TIC Steering Rack Bushings Whiteline Crossmember Bushings Whiteline Trans Bushing Exterior: Password:JDM 3 Piece Carbon Front Lip (New) Password:JDM Side Skirts (New) RCRS Carbon Rear Aprons (New) BeatSonic Shark Fin Leg Motorsport Rear Spoiler(New) TRD Fender Vents (New) JDM Clear Side Markers Painted Tails FnA Automotive Rear Fog Light (Kit 1) Zeta Performance Rain Guards Convex Mirrors with Turn Signal Rydeen Duo Rear Camera (OLD) TRD Rear Spoiler (OLD) CS Style Front Lip (OLD) CS Style Side Skirts (OLD) CS Style Rear Spats Interior: All LED bulbs (trunk, courtesy lights in door, dome) Carsmo Armrest FA20Club P3Cars Integrated Vent Gauge JPM Coachworks Hood Vent, Alcantara JPM Coachworks Speaker Covers, Alcantara JPM Coachworks Radio Dash Panel, Alcantara JPM Coachworks Simulated Leather Knee Pads WC Lathewerks Titanium Ti Shift Knob Overland Designs Door Handle Pull Straps Transmission/Braking: Grimmspeed Master Cylinder Brace Kartboy Rear Shifter Stay Bushing Kartboy Short Shifter Whiteline Transmission Bushing STi Transmission Mount MTEC Shift Springs Exedy Stage 1 Clutch Wheels CCW Classics 18x10+38, 18x9.5+33 (5mm spacer) Bridgestone RE760 Sports, 255/35/18, 245/35/18 Project KICS R26 Neo Chrome Lug Nuts Painted Tails: Trunk Setup for air: All Things Proper Photo 3 by xxscaxx, on Flickr All Things Proper Photo 7 by xxscaxx, on Flickr Clean Culture OC Meet by xxscaxx, on Flickr Comments/criticism welcome. LOVE the mods! Very nicely done. Painted tails are especially on a white car!

Nice build there! I wouldn't personally go with an air set up, but hey it's your car not mine. You should come down to LA and enter that in a low rider competition. LOL

Thanks! Its not for everyone but I think a lot of people just don't know too much about it. I bet you if I left my car on riding height and took someone for a ride you wouldn't even know it was on air...lol. I still need an alignment but the car handles very well, especially being on snow tires. Can't wait for my wheels to be finished and can get some sticky tires on it and see what it can really do.

As long as you don't scrape over crap and ruin your car it's fine. What pisses me off is people who run static ride height like that. Nice mods so far!

There used to be a strip club that I passed on the way to university every day. One half of it was called The Dollhouse, it was more popular. The other side was called Huggies, it had the male dancers... lol
Anyways aside from your choice of name, pretty cool car! My friend is getting a fancy air ride setup for his A4, so I'll get to experience this new generation of air suspension first hand. |
