AC delete pulley that works with JRSC kit

Title says it all. I got the JDM delete kit because my ac was 150psi on both sides and decided to install it since i shredded my belt at autocross. The pulley is too big. Mad an ass out of myself not measuring first

I wonder what size pulley the Raceseng delete uses?

I guess i could just measure the pulley size with calipers. I'm going to call jackson racing tomorrow to see what they say. Also to see if i can get a new spacer since i had to hit it with a belt sander to clearance it because the delete kit isn't perfectly flush.

use a marker to mark the difference in length of belt it takes to wrap halfway around each of them. Add it to the length of your current belt. Get the closest match.


Or do the pulleys actually interfere with each other?

it interferes. I don't remember if the belt hits the brace or the pulleys touch but it cant even mount flush if it wanted. I had to clearance the spacer with the 14mm nut on it maybe 1/2 a mill on one side too for it to sit flush with the delete. I was going to try and remove the compressors pulley but that one is splined. Now that I cut the lines it probably would be a bad idea to slap the compressor back on until I can get a solution I would assume. At least all the belt pieces washed out of the filter pretty easily. Is a belt lasting an autocross season now a reasonable expectation?

It would be fine to just use the compressor installed. Nothing would engage without pressure in the system and even so, leave the clutch solenoid disconnected and "poof" instant idler pulley.

The worst part was since I was in there and already crossed the rubicon by disconnecting the hardline from the compressor I started to prep for hardline removals and found a connector with a damaged wires near the fuel lines. Not sure what it does but it connected to an AC hardline. I wonder if it controlled some kind of valve. That project car life :\

Oh! I skimmed too quickly. I wonder if that wasn't the signal from the low pressure switch.

I just looked it up and it was labeled as AC Pressure sensor on the diagram. Im guessing that is why I would hear it click on and off but it just make heat. I must have snagged it removing the old block/installing the new block. I'm sure if that didn't break it trying to run the AC on max multiple times broke whatever was still working.


I have a few parts numbers for pulleys +/- 5mm of the AC's and going to see if any parts store has them. The newest being the idler from an s10 so I'm not holding my breath.

I just got off the phone with jackson racing and this is what they recommended. I thought it originally sounded too dumb to work but that's 2 parties that said its good so that is what I'll do. I'm not sure if i looked this up or not before buying but for anyone searching, the JDM ac delete kit is confirmed to not work with the JRSC kit.

Several years ago I remember seeing a video of guys building a car that put a delete with jrsc. They did some machining to the mount. If course, can't find it now.
