If you can't find an answer here, put tire shine on your tires, slap a piece of blue painters tape all the way around the fender lip, and go for a drive. When you get back, wherever you're rubbing should be clearly marked on the tape.

Thanks for that tip I'll definitely do that. Though it seems that people who already have this setup with no issues have a secret formula or I just have bad luck

I really don't understand how you're rubbing with like 2 finger gap with that camber and spring rate. Even if I put mine on full soft dampening, i don't even really rub more frequently.

My current setup

Tein Street Flex Coilovers
SPL LCAs
Volk TE37sl 18x9.5 +40
Michelin Pilot Super Sport 265/35/18

Current camber f/r: -2.9,-3.7
Caster front left: 5.3
Caster front right: 6.1
Front toe: 0
Rear left toe: 0.12
Rear right toe: 0.09

We did a fender roll as well as cutting the tab in the rear fender yet I am still rubbing... Can you guys with similar setups go into detail on what you guys did to make it where it doesn't rub?
Really don't understand how you have rubbing issues. I have pretty much the same setup as you (KW V3 coilovers, SPC LCA, TE37 18x9.5 +45 265/35 cup 2 tires...) lowered about an inch, no rolled fenders and eyeballed zero camber and only rubbed in the driverside rear since it went a little lower once the coilovers settled. Raised it slightly and no rubbing at all. Going to get an alignment next week and plan to go about -2 in the front and -1,8 in the rear so there is no way you should have any rubbing issues at all.

I tried to put r888 265/35/18 and it stuck out 1 in. running -1.8 in the rear. Rays 57xtreme 18x9.5 40+... Very disappointed it ended up on Craigslist the tires

In all honesty i have no clue what my current camber is but it's far from aggressive. Maybe the R888 run wider then the Cup 2s?

Looks like you're at stock height? You're goint to have to be lowered to not have something like that poke out...

My car is lowered, it makes it worse at you correct camber after lowering the car.

I am just trying to show the different sizes between manufacture and even within it own company.

This is where doing your research first helps.

It's widely known R-comps run very wide compared to street tires. Look at the section width vs the "numbered" size of the tire.

For instance, I used to run 205 R888s on 8" wide wheel on the Miata, and lots of Miata guys run 205 Hoosiers on 9" wide wheels.

I was trying to show to the previous post about saying his setup working but different selection differ even within own brand.

I tried to do a search and couldn't find anything on 265 R888 so I thought I would try. At least it add to this search engine in regards to this setup.

Posted in the 'Will it Fit' thread, but figured you guys might be able to help too...

I've done some research on a wheel setup and it looks like it'll "fit". I would just like to confirm and possibly get any pics of the setup, if available.

17x9 +30 245/40

Stock suspension for now, but will be lowering it soon. I know it'll poke at stock, so I might just wait till I lower it to put them on.

Thanks in advance!

i have same specs as above but in +25. you'll need to run neg camber to avoid poke. im running coilovers but you might hit the front shocks with those offsets on full lock maybe.
