Question, my stock wheels have 8k miles on them. If I were to swap the tpms into my new wheels, would I need to reservice them by replacing the grommet and o-ring or would I be okay to reuse them as is?

Anyone use aftermarket brackets for TPMS sensors? I don't want to replace the valve stems on my aftermarket wheels.

Heres my experience with tpms on my car, i own a 2014 brz premium:
i have a set of rpf1's that i swapped my stock tpms sensors on to and i recently had my rims powdercoated so i had to use my stock wheels with no tpms. The wierd thing though is my sensor lights never went on as a warning in the 5 days that i had no tpms! At first i thought it was broken but the sensor turns on for a second as i turn on the ignition. Could it be broken? So as a trial when i got my rpf1's back i deflated one wheel to a low psi and sure enough the warning light turned on that my tires are flat. Long story short maybe we dont need extra sets of tpms may the tpms is designed to just recognize low tire pressure if the sensors are present and if not it doesnt activate. It doesn't even have to be that close. My summer wheels are stored in the basement and are at least 30 feet away from the car (plus going through concrete) and the car picks up the sensors every day in the winter.

Not sure how that worked then. I swap winters and summers every season change, and I've forgotten to reprogram the new sensor ID's in and within half an hour of driving my TPMS light goes on.

Anyone with ATEQ that used it on Windows 8.1?? Idk if I'm having a driver install problem or what, but it has a "connection error" when I try to load the stock TPMS codes back into the program.
