Lightweight vs. weighted shift knobs

I had a Moddiction knob and would recommend it to anyone who's looking for a Type-R style knob. But it was too small for me. Did smoothen shifts nicely though.

I've come to realize I like the stock shift knob quite a bit. It's wide and fits my hand well. Considering a couple of lighter shift knobs, the MTEC knob and the TRD leather (but can't stomach $160+ for a shift knob!)

Can any owners chime in?

I think the stock shift knob is weighted pretty well. However, I prefer a heavy knob like Anarchy Motives. Makes shifting smooth and effortless.

It took a bit of time to get used to, but I love my MTEC knob now. I felt the stock knob was too small.

I made my shifter from a billiard ball and I love it. It's a little bigger than the stock shifter, weighs about the same and has a smooth feel. Took about a hour to make and cost almost nothing. Its a winner for me.
I have tried the TRD shifter and it is lighter and rounder that the stock shifter and is perfect if you want a lighter weight shifter knob.
