So you want a sporty lexus? Not really the intention of this car..

Tires are 215/45/17 according to subaru, so likely 17x7 all around.

HIDs might be available on a premium level like other subarus - with crap most buyers won't want added.

As much as I would like that feature list, I'm aiming towards something... ... affordable? 21kish? lol maybe I'm just cheap >_>;

I'll be happy with a basic audio system (USB/AUX) and autolocks. Heck, if there's a button on the key to pop up the trunk I'm ecstatic.

If this car is aiming for a low 20k figure then this car wont come with most of the features you guys are asking for.

blah to all this fancy high tech luxury stuff

Proximity Keys/ Push Start are something i dont want at all. That feels soo video gamey and a total disconnect from the car I mean I for one enjoy inserting my key into the ignition and turning her over with a smile on my face

The seats sound like you want electic which I dont motor = weight

HID are not gonna be standard but I do hope they are part of the stripped down race spec

I got a short list

Looks good
Lots of spirit
lots of potential

Must have
HID Projectors
LED brake lights
Like to have
<20k for a base model
Auto up/down windows
Can't have
Light up Scion logo like the FRS concept
Ricer body kit
Anything electronic or automatic other than windows and locks. I want manual cloth seats with plenty of side bolstering (my WRX seats are perfect), basic radio, basic climate controls, and I want to turn a damn key to start the car. No gadgets at all for me please.

LED brake lights are a must have? Really?

This car is not being developed as a radical addition to the industry, its focus is to provide classic sports car features that have been recently overlooked by most brands.

It seems lkke they are already giving it most of the things I need, wants are another story.

if you want all that jazz i think you are missing the point. the only thing this car needs is balance. power and grip have to work together to make this car one of the most fun per dollar cars available. to do that not even an lsd is important. people get hung up on spec lists and means to an end, not the end. this car doesnt need to be rwd or have a low cg or have ideal front to rear balance to be fun or achieve the goals. it might make it easier though

I think many of your purists may be missing another point. Most of these features are simple little electrical bits that add very little to no weight to car, and add major conveniences in already implemented systems in the car.

I think some of that is true but like with the key its a connection to the car thing

also heated/power seats = motor = alot more extra weight that me being less lazy can make up for. the only things I really want powered are windows and locks.

either way I think the point most people are missing is why are you guys complaining about "needs" when really this car is gonna be giving us soo much already if it lives up to the idea light weight rwd sports coupe
