1) Hello! My name is Alex.
2) 0060
3) Crystal Black Sillica
4) Texas
5) Saw the car while dropping off my old red '17 BRZ for service at the dealer. Test drove it for kicks but I felt the difference in handling right away. I had the ability to finance it so I bought it. Turns out the car was used at 150 miles because someone had tried to learn stick but couldn't, gave up and returned it to buy an SUV -- so I got a great price on it.

This is my daily so I don't plan to do anything other than the essentials: master cylinder brace, LED bulbs to replace the stock interior and license plate yellowish bulbs, sound generator delete, valenti fourth brake light. Autox is planned for later down the road.

Great looking car. I got white TS for $30K + Tax and other charges. I am curious, how much did you get it for?

I got mine for 5k off. Sticker was 35k. I can see these cars selling for 28k in a month or two.

Not many ts left in my area. I think there is not much demand for manual/stick shift cars in US compared to rest of the world.

As of today, in 50 miles radius, there are about:

ts: 9
premium: 5
limited: 25 (one 50th anniversary for $28K)

Updates to my tS:

Verus gas pedal spacer
Kiwi 3 OBD II module
Magnetic Front Plate Holder - DIY thanks to ft86club members
BMW Mini horns
Verus Air Oil Separator w/heating and oil return
Delicious Tune Flex Fuel Kit, MAP & Tune
Deatschwerks Fuel Pump & Injectors
Jackson Racing Dual Radiator/Oil Cooler
Harrop TVS86 Supercharger

Installation most components thanks, Neal @ The Racer's Line

I thought that would be it. This is addicting, now I am thinking STI Flexible Strut Tower Brace, Radium Brake Master Cylinder Brace, 4th brake light mod, and a 4# battery to ameliorate some of the weight gain from the SC installation.

Then that will be all. NO MORE!

Fitment? Looks OEM. Do a board search on Harrop, you will see other members installations.

5) I had just paid off my WRX and it had been boring me for the past six months. I really wanted to get back into autocross and track days, but still be able to have confidence in the vehicle after. The tS fit the bill. I mulled it over internally PP vs tS, but I'm a sucker for limited production models. SO...a quick call around, I landed with Joseph Subaru in Florence Kentucky and they were so kind and got me down to 32k OTD.

I hadn't decided on a name, but I told my mother during a drive that I would let Coca Cola decide for us! I stated whatever name was on the bottle, would be the name....

SAY HELLO TO YOLANDA.

I've been debating that myself...The wing is not my style...But otherwise I like the tS...But the PP is likely to be cheaper...I guess it'll come down to what'sout there when I start shopping..

More so meant any installation issues on the 2018. It seems a number of the PD style blowers fit, but are very tight/more complex install in comparison to installs on the 13-16’s. Apparently this is why many haven’t certified their kit for install on a 17-1&. I’m actively trying to determine which kit I want to go with, so when anyone installs one on an 18, specifically a tS, I always like to ask how the install and fitnent to help me determine if that’s a path I’d like to still consider.

Thanks in advance!

1) Hey my name is Ishan
2) 0702
3) Crystal White Pearl
4) Bought in PA, currently reside in Illinois

5) The tS is the car I bought out of college. I've always just owned cheap used cars to get me by. My last three cars were two wranglers and a 2013 Nissan Altima so this is a huge change from anything ive owned before. I considered a lot of cars to buy including a Mustang, wrx, focus rs, etc. And the brz is just the perfect car for what I wanted : a driver's experience.

It had a little under 3000 miles on it right now and I love it so far. I'm doing my first ever autocross event with it this weekend so I'm excited to see what it can do.

For plans, I want to put in a cold air intake and catback exhaust by winter to improve the sound of it a little. Besides that, I'm very conflicted. I don't want to add forced induction until I've paid the car off or close to it but I do want to add power to it through other means without risking voiding my warranty. Since I'm new to having a nice car and new to tuning and mods, I would love your guys' input and advice on how to make this the best car it can be.

I don't have great pics of the car yet but here are two shots:

5) Ended up trading my '16 Fiesta ST in for one on a whim. The Fiesta was fun, but always found myself preferring my Miata. Only plans are a WC Lathe Werks shift knob, possibly a catback exhaust, and telling everyone that Alcantara is actually llama skin.
