I'm only seeing the single tip on amazon and on berk's site. Did they discontinue the dual tip or am I missing something?

If you're looking for a double muffler delete check out Mach V. That's what I was running before the full set up and I absolutely loved it. Got alot of compliments on the sound and look. Build quality is great too.

Well the main reason I want the dual tip is so that the back bumper doesn't look strange with holes for two tips but only 1 outlet. I'm looking at the Mach V stuff now though and I'm wondering if its worth more than twce the price to get the extra outlet

Id say it is. It makes a huge difference plus having a two cut hole bumper with one exit is like some of the American cars that has cheap spots for the fog lights with no fogs. Unless its a tracked car but that is my own opinion for sure. I'm sure others will disagree though

I did. I guess I forgot to reply. I'm curious as to how it sounds with the resonator. Do you think the single tip will drone as bad as you said the dual tip one did?

No, I think the single tip has very little drone (it's just loud). From everything I've heard, read, and experienced, the drone is caused by that pipe coming off the main exhaust stream to the purely aesthetic right exhaust tip. I think the other piece mentioned in this thread (MachV?) is engineered slightly different to reduce the drone effect by that second pipe...they may also use a resonator (I know one company does have one as a part of the design).

I believe you're referencing the Works dual tip muffler delete. It has a resonator (smaller than the one you have) built it. It's also slightly cheaper (but still more than twice the price of the single tip). If i go the dual tip route, i'll likely go with that one.

Yeah, that's the one. Good piece...I think they are the ones who tried to also eliminate as much drone as possible with the design of that cross-over pipe.

Now we just have to move. Got a Uhaul truck and will be working on it from tomorrow afternoon through the weekend.. fun times!

I'm also picking up a new 2013 Silverado lease tomorrow.. gotta love $179/mo for a $38k truck with nothing down and only 24 months term.
