I apologize in advance, but in a few weeks our cars are going to look very similar haha. Bronze RPf1s on the way.

I hate winter and miss driving my car but it is relaxing to work on little things with the only time constraint being the first track day in late April. I prepped for the up coming APR brake ducts and hose routing, did an oil change, remounted the oil cooler in a better location and adjusted the new rear diffuser. I will be removing 30 lbs of interior soon and removing the stock rear spoiler. APR brake ducts are due in mid week. Updates to come.

I have been working on the APR brake backing plate and hose install. The backing plates are great and fit perfect but the hose routing is kinda clumsy. My oil cooler setup prevents me from routing it to APR install directions. Nor do I like cutting the plastic wheel liners.

FYI: If the only way the APR brake hose can be routed is by cutting the inner fender liner, running it up past the oil filter and down underneath the headlights. If you have an oil cooler and it has fittings protruding toward the air box the APR unit will not work. I have seen people with the Mishimoto kit squeeze them by (see here). Notice in this write up they also do not have a stock air box which also may need trimming to fit.

Put the FRS on a diet last night. The interior pieces are surprisingly light in this car. Rear seat belts, baby seat beat bracket, rear seat back cushion, rear seat back brackets and everything in the trunk is a good start. All the brackets, hardware and seat belts weighed in around 11lbs. The rear seat back cushion weighs about 15 lbs and everything out of the trunk equals around 35 pounds.

Also ordered a Raceseng Cam plate for preventative maintenance purpose.

What does the back seat area look like now? Any plans for a rear seat delete like look?

Maybe. As of right now I will just leave it bare except the rear seat bottoms. They don't weight anything and will keep what ever I have back there from sliding around. I plan on fabricating a roll bar soon. After that is in I may do something like DaiTT500 did in this thread.

I fabbed a piece of screen in an attempt to protect my oil cooler that is now exposed bc I removed my grill. Looks good to me

45 Degrees and sunny in February! I re-routed the oil cooler lines with less bends. Threw the bumper and splitter back on and drove her around for a bit. Finally got a half way decent pic of the rear diffuser too. Enjoy.

Also installed the new Helix clear side markers.
