I know it's not "spec" but it's a pretty common occurrence on how to make a bar bind

The bar was moving, don't get me wrong. But it was probably tighter than it should have been. We did the same 1/4 turn and it was a little more free.

Anyone want to speculate on what the SSC pax will be next year? .795? .785?

I think it will likely be between ES and DS.
I think on most courses, I would be faster in an ES car. Also, if PAX isn't fixed, I'm pretty much out. Locals are 0 fun. |

Just saying, Adam didn’t do you guys any favors with helping you out on PAX.
And while Nats isn’t totally considered, I’d think that has to be in the back of Ricks mind. That and the fact locally, some people have been doing decent enough, might impact you guys negatively Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Bartek still had a faster scratch in ES, in conditions that were debatably comparable.
I do think it is going to be a tough car to PAX. Keep the car in its powerband and have an open course that doesn't force blended inputs and it is probably a second faster than ES. ...but most of the time, ES seems to be right there, if not faster. edit: Comparing west times, Scroggs ran a 62.4, Bartek ran a 62.2, and Adam ran a 62.6. I don't think there is really anything out there than doesn't put SSC in that neighborhood unless Rick thinks the class is collectively terrible at our 2 adjustments..... or we get a new tire. |

I have a question for those of you that track your SSC car on the Falkens. How much lower are you setting cold pressures for a 20 minute session vs. autocross pressures? Assuming 65 - 75 degree dry weather.

Scroggs wasn't fastest on day 2. Finch had a 62.304. 0.37 is quite a bit of time. I would bet that SSC is softer than both ES and DS.

Oops.
Also fun fact: At our local Sunday, I would have had to have the top door slammer raw time by 7 tenths to win my PAX class. |

This was for 255/40-17's on 17x9 wheels, but I would bet the same works for your spec wheel and tire sizes. |

Thoughts on 2019 PAX? .806 to .801 while pretty much everyone else got bumped up. Better....
