Well someone must have spotted a tarantula out on the Sonoma roads too then.

Too soon? (I was actually out there all day yesterday, it's terrible to see all that beautiful area devastated by the fires)

Ya man, too soon... too soon... people died and lost homes. I actually hesitated for a beat before posting that, but figured it was alright since it's a different area.

I'm kinda curious now how it looks up there. Lake Berryessa to Napa has been my go-to scenic drive since moving to Sac. Been meaning to organize a drive through there and now I'm afraid it might be too sad.

Seems like there is almost an annual ownership change at The Junction. I don’t know how a seasonal business like that in such a rural area can stay in business. Apparently it can’t.

I love the statement I read somewhere, "if only they would straighten out the road to it, it would be much faster and easier to get to"

Sad to hear. But it sounds like they are changing ownership due to family issues, not due to lack of success. Hope they open again soon.

Exercising the idea of hosting a karting event at the new K1 Speed in Dublin

https://www.k1speed.com/dublin-locat...SAAEgLH3fD_BwE

If there's enough interest, I can certainly do the footwork to make something happen. Holiday party sort??? Otherwise, open invites with myself and my kids. My daughter is old enough - I'm hoping my 9yr son can get behind the wheel on his own.

I would recommend Le Mans Karting in Fremont. Your son will have to go through the training program they make kids do. I never liked K1 since their karts were electric. Gotta support the small guy too Don't want more great karting places to close down like GoKart Racer

Depending on the day I'm interested. You thinking weekend or weekday?

Why do I think weeknights may be easier? And less traffic?

Congrats! Glad you're karting again. No more demolition derby please

Ima actually start using my own neck brace. Last time at Umigo, it took a week to try and convince myself I was sleeping wrong.
