Wouldn't mind getting some of those fender vents in 37J, assuming they use the same paint codes.

Haha not nitpicking. Just saying that maybe behind the scenes someone in a board room may have been pushing back and that was the compromise. It also would be relatively simple to ensure modularity by making them pop out panels to cater to RHD/LHD and just move them from side to side based on the destination market.

I agree with @Rampage. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if it weighs in around 2900lbs.

Ya I wrote a long rant on that subject not long ago. It is how are brains are wired that causes people to like what they have more then what the changes bring. Unless like you they have some reason to not like what was in which case the new is always "better".

In this case though MY opinion (or at least my brain's opinion) stands and that is just one ugly front end regardless of how it compares to the old one.

That brings up a good question (that will be answered soon I am sure). Wonder what colours they will keep or do away with? They have made minor changes every year but this is their chance to do some big ones.

I'm gonna have to source me a FRS bumper before it starts to get rare... I've always wanted to try the WRB BRZ with FRS bumper one day

This is an okay face-lift I guess. New Front bumper isn't for me. But most of us are biased because we already have the existing model so of course ours has to look better than the new one. Maybe this model will appeal to the new customers they want.

Just noticed that on the side of the headlights the "86" is been done as part of the headlight housing. Look at the photos at full size and you'll see it.

From the press release:
"86 logos have been incorporated into a badge on the front fender, as well as inside the front headlamps."
