invidia q300 or tomei 60r?
so.. I for sure, plan on doing the Borla UEL header and personally have heard the q300 matched up with the Borla and really liked the noise level. I was really set on making the purchase until i found out how much the q300 weighs :O I`ve looked up the lightest exhaust thread but I would personally like to stay under $1500 for the whole deal and would prefer titanium tips to match my wrb. i dont track my car all the time, but i`m also looking to drop about 75lbs in total from all my mods.
so.. options: option 1 Q300 I like the looks, sound, and price. kind of heavy though option 2 tomei 60R probably will give a bit more power, but i dont like the single tip and it`s probably going to be extremely loud (especially with the header) option 3 you guys have any other catbacks in mind? or maybe i can buy the lightest front pipes, etc since I like everything about the Q300 minus the weight. thanks.

This is pre-open flash header but might gives you another sound clip of the Q300 - personally I love it. I heard the N1 and it was too loud for my taste. Now that I have the OFH installed I can't imagine how loud that would be with the N1. The Q300 is perfect on the loud, WOT side.

@ft86SpeedFactory runs the 60r I believe and I know that they prefer quieter sounding exhausts, so I can't imagine that it is too loud, even with a header (granted, they might be running their catted header... Not sure). Also, they offer a hole cover now that allows you to run a single exit and still look good in the process.

I'm sporting a 60r and it is pretty loud, every other piece is stock. I'm awaiting my OFH, so I'm pretty much waiting to see how they sound together. Depending if it's too much I might get rid of the 60r, so let me know if you're interested, I'll give you a good deal

Thats a very hard choice, they are both really nice. Best bet is to go q300 since you dont want it to be as loud but if you go single you can always get the exhaust block off to cover the hole.

The Tomei's material, titanium really affects noise too - it'll be louder and a little less deep than some other exhausts out there. Let me say this: they are all VERY loud, I don't know how people say even the 60S is quiet (perhaps in comparison to the R), but they are all loud.
The Q300 is apparently supposed to sound stock, and the Perrin Resonated 2.5 CBE is pretty quiet too, albeit a bit louder than the Q300.

and on the single exit tip, I`m working on a custom functional diffuser thanks for all the help guys, I`m leaning towards the Q300
