I'll tell you who is going to have the first grenaded turbo, the moron who trys to run super high boost on his motor! Its going to be so tempting for so many, but you are going to have to run low boost 4-6 psi to remain reliable from what i'm hearing.

The stock exhaust already wraps around to the front of the engine. Putting a turbo there wouldn't extend the overall travel distance much at all, maybe a foot or so at most.

Thats not true. We've been testing 8-10psi through a GT28 Turbo. You can't believe everything your hear on the internet. I'm the only person w/ a running car!

No. Even if it was, if you want to discuss don's kit and what it does, go to don's thread. Keep this thread to things that relate to AVO. Not trying to single anyone out, this is more of a blanket statement for the way this thread has turned.

The FMIC does fit with the bumper beam, without cutting it.

Update: prototype fits perfectly, so we are taking it off and sending off to the factory to build the jigs, molds, and other templates.

When are you expecting this to be available for purchase?

I hate to commit to a date, simply because these things are a bit hard to predict. We are aiming at having the production pieces available a bit before SEMA. We are trying to have it available sooner than that, but I'm conservative about these things.

hows the sound of the boxer rumble? any videos?

I'm very serious when I say this kit might be the difference between me buying or not an FRS.
