Every car's different, just be gentle with it. If you're really concerned, sure Pure or Mach V would put it on.

That's sound about right. You should see the orange piece behind the little window as well. Did you spin it by accident at some point?? I made that mistake and the ABS and TRAC never went away. The way I got it fixed is I put my stock wheel back on and went to the dealer. It needed calibration. I'm about reinstall the wheel again later

the orange peice was about 7 o clock through the window. i'm assuming that i need to turn it up to 12 o clock with it showing through the window so i see it right? then that should be a green light for me to put my other wheel on?

When I installed mine, the orange piece was showing in the small window at around the 8 o clock position. If its in that window, then the clock spring is lined up properly. You'll notice that if you spin it, by the time you make a full rotation, the orange piece won't line up with that window anymore.

Get that orange piece and the window to line up. Then the plugs coming out of the clock spring should be directly at the 12 o clock position. Bolt on the hub and get it on there TIGHT! Don't overdue it but if it isn't tight enough, the clock spring will still be free enough to rotate underneath the hub. So tighten it down all the way and then route the wires through the hub. Place the resistors on the airbag wires, wire up the horn and you're good to go.

I have a Personal wheel and Works Bell hub installed on mine. Over 600 miles with it on and everything works like OEM. No lights.

see this is odd because i saw the orange through the little window because before i pulled the wheel off i centered the wheel. the plugs coming out of the clock spring? i'm not sure what those "plugs" are. i also impacted the nut on there with my electric impact so it was tight.

hmm clockspring was lined up, but the plugs that you speak of. which ones are those. the light will be off until i start to drive then they both go on.

The plug I speak of is the one that is on the clockspring.

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12257

Look at the 4th picture in the original post. That white plug and the two yellow wires for the airbag. Those should be at the 12 o clock position just like they are in that picture while at the same time, having the orange piece lined up in the window off to the side. If they are both like that, it should be lined up.

The only way to get rid of those lights is to hook up resistors to the airbag plugs. Just stick the pins into the holes on the airbag plugs and wrap it up with electrical tape just like in the 2nd picture @NemeGuero provided.

With the clockspring 100% properly aligned and the airbag plugs done, everything should work with no lights

thanks dude! i guess the plugs may be off centered when putting everything on. the airbag lights are off since i got the resistors in them. i guess i need to rotate things until the plugs are up top while the orange piece is showing through the window. thanks man!
