@Beyer Subaru, I was never familiar with how the US antenna base/pedestal compares to JDM. I guess you've been able to see that the US base is larger? I'm also curious to see if that OEM sharkfin will be a direct fit for us. Was there an ETA for its release?

Also, got any idea if these are a direct plugin for USDM models?

Yep, I like the BRZ door decal alot. I think it would really pop on your car. I feel as though I've seen the decals in other world markets as well but I can't remember where.

Yep, I dismantled the OEM BRZ antenna to see what all was goin on inside. It's a pretty big circuit board and associated electrics vs the very simple Legacy antenna. This is because the Legacy uses an antenna wire in the rear windshield and throughout the actual body of the car.

The JDM BRZ antenna is the same size as the USDM FR-S antenna. I seriously doubt that the JDM BRZ fin will be plug-n-play. But it is being offered for most of the new models, so it is a possibility?

I was unable to find any form of release date. We will need Yuki or one of our JDM contacts to investigate to see when it will be released. I would assume it will be available in the second quarter of 2013CY.

I don't know of any USDM, JDM or other antenna that will be plug and play with our ginormous antenna. I think that a Mfr would need to make a antenna base to fit all of the OEM guts into, to get it p-n-p.

The subs should be plug-n-play. Should be. But I can't say for sure. Even if they aren't it shouldn't be to hard to get the right harness swapped onto it. It would be very different (easier) than an antenna.

Yep, they look to be the same Speedline Corse wheels as the Xt Concept. Speedline wheels have been associated with Subaru for a long time in Europe. Some of the old Prodrive branded wheels were rebadged Speedlines.

I really hope the actual STI car doesn't use the bits from this catalog just to makes these items more unique.
Ah, gotcha. My bad, I was never really a Scooby guy. My friend just linked me pics to STI Foresters and Legacys. I had no clue the moniker ever extended past the WRX.

Yeh don't worry about it. The problem is that STI rarely releases parts for any other car except the Impreza in the US, which is why people here just associate the STI moniker with the Impreza. There's no plans to release the STI catalog for the BRZ here.

The ASM Karoism IMO looks much better and the checkers are very subtle.

Yep, if they'd bring a LHD version, I'd sign up.

Can someone educate me as to the use of a "flexible tower bar"? I always believed that you wanted zero flex, hence a solid bar between the strut towers.

Per the STi site - translated - Strut tower bar put the ball split the tower bar link aluminum. For dodging a moderate external pressure, such as the gap of the road to effectively use the bending of the chassis, without compromising ride comfort, when cornering is hold on tight, we achieve improved handling to the limit from the range commonly used initial steering.

Basically it will make the ride more stiff but not to the point of teeth shattering. The bar connects the strut towers but not as rigidly as a comparable bar.

Cool, thanks. Learn something new everyday. I think I like the idea of a magnetorheological damper better.

You talking about the ASM Karoism or the JDM Subaru mats? I've spoken to ASM about the Karoism mats in LHD, they would need the stock ones we have, then they would design one and then ship both back. BTW, they are very expensive. Very high quality but expensive.

Any of them would suit my fancy. I'm reaching out all over the freaking world right now to get some kind of floor mat solution. I'm just so sick of looking at the USDM mats.

I'd be interested in what you are proposing. It would just come down to overall cost of part/shipping.
