I so wish that SOA would just assign a wait number to everyone so we can see how close we are at getting our car made. This is just driving me nuts not knowing jack about my car. All we get is hopeful statements like a your car will be made soon, a new shipment is coming soon your car might be on it, yo wont have to wait much longer, your car will almost be ready..... I just want an answer like Im number 200 or something that shows me progress

I pre-order back in March also, but now 3 months in I've started looking at
other options, the Mustang got better power but heavier yet CHEAPer,
the Gen Coupe got better power but also heavier yet once again CHEAPER plus
better warranty.

The BRZ is just right since I want HIDs + NAV , but I got a nasty feeling it would be
easier to waltz into a Toyota dealership and pick up the LESS equipped FRS.

i finally got an eta of september... im ok with that since i will not be ready until then but i have been looking at new and used cars around the same price as the brz

Even VON numbers don't mean jack. They make them in batches of color something. So even if you ordered 1 month before someone, you're screwed because you want GBS instead of WRB.

I just wish there was some way to glean what they're making when. I ordered a GBS Limited in addition the the LR BRZ Limited that was another customers who canceled his. I probably picked the 2 least produced colors on the line and I'll never get them before September.....ugh.

Just got a call from the dealer, my BRZ is here! I'll be picking her up tomorrow after work, can't wait!

Congrats! I guess you guys in the colder regions got more allocations than we here in the warmer parts of the country. Or so it seems...

As of last Wednesday (6-27-12) after being on a "wait list" status for 107 days my order now shows delivery of my BRZ as July, generic I know, but it's at least a flicker of light at the end of a very long tunnel.

Talked with SoA this morning and mine is updated as "July" as well. No ETA or VIN yet. I ordered on 3/27 (#1 of 3). DGM Limited Manual

Well, there's going to be 2 orders that will be open in PA. 1 LR BRZ in York and a GBS in Harrisburg. I just put money down on a CBS Limited in Hanover. I pick it up on Monday.

Well I hope I made the right decision. Reading the "chirp" thread and then reading somewhere that an FR-S guy had an engine grenade and he got a new car......
