Well this is interesting. From the teaser I like this more than the G's concept but less than the original. (This was kind of expected.)

So about a month to see the almost-production version? Hopefully the damn motor and transmission specs will come to the show too.

Don't really know what you're talking about. The
didn't change much from concept to production, it gained a little bigger rear windows for visibility and a painted rear end. Otherwise, it was always a bucktoothed hybrid.

brought up the gamma to see the contour and added red to bring out detail, little rough edit but at least we can see more.

Nice wings, the creases in the front almost look like canards now
edit
wow I just realized I slept 12 hours last night
Edit2
Bet that Toyota is kicking them selfs for not making the pic darker, that phototune really bought a whole lot of details out

Red looks nice!

Is that carbon fiber trim around the grille? I doubt that's going to show up on the production model, even with Toyota having their own carbon fiber loom.

I can't tell if this is a rendering. The surroundings definitely look computer generated, but I can't tell with the actual car. Either way, looks promising.

Looks like they incorporated much more of the FT-HS concept into this. After all, the FT-HS was the 1st concept and then came the FT-86.

I'm liking this. Now...what will the Scooby version look like?

The back end of the CR-Z was changed drastically compared to it's concept. The headlights/tail lamps can really make or break a car's exterior, and usually the lights in a concept very rarely make it to production. I'm just hoping the roof won't be raised dramatically.

The CR-Z's back end wasn't changed all that much. Aside from the tail-lights, it's virtually the same. The diffuser is the same shape and all, and aside from a groove for your hand to grip the trunk-hatch, there isn't much different.

I hope the profile of the ft-86 isn't too much changed. And yes, concept car lights almost never survive to production.
