Hmmm... maybe lobby the town, city, county, whoever owns the road to add some speed limit signs? You might have a legitimate argument. My neighborhood is looking into speed bumps where on a 25 MPH road people sometimes fly down it at 40-60.

I know @p1l0t knows this, but for others.... there are speed limits in the air too.

In the US....

Over land, in general, no plane is allowed to exceed MACH1.
Below 10,000 ft no plane may exceed 250KIAS (288MPH) KIAS is indicated airspeed in knots.
200KIAS below 2,500ft near certain airports

The only exceptions are when the minimum airspeed of the airplane is faster than the speeds listed below, which is very unlikely to be the case.

You know me better than that. I have opinions but I really enjoy a good honest discussion.

Haha those we just go around, but sometimes you get an airship landing and you have to wait for the ground crew to catch the ropes and tie it to a pole... meanwhile your circling burning fuel...

Yeah 250 below 10k and you can't break the sound barrier over the contigous 48... My (company) plane only goes .48mach anyway which is about half the speed of sound.

My brother and sister are seriously the worst passengers to have in my car. They constantly complain that I'm trying to kill them. One, I've never come close because I am careful. And two, I drive easier with passengers than I do alone.

Just do a little drifting and they'll burn their own gas next time

It's a pretty complicated process. They don't always get it right.
