Anyone remember this game? One Must Fall: 2097. It was a DOS fighting game released in 1994.

I was reading an article about some other game and the art style struck a nostalgia nerve and I went on a google quest to figure out what game I was trying to remember, and this was it. Anyone else play this bad boy back in the day?

Again, long time since I posted, moved on to other things. But I had another gaming encounter with an 86, or rather a more properly powered 365 HP RocketBunny GT4 mod.

I defended my position thanks to the car being tail-happy, in an intense battle just before the end of the race. I just had to share with you guys. I am in the black MOMO car.

I'm finally getting around to playing Just Cause 4. I had forgotten how much I love the ziplining, flying, pure chaos destruction in this series. Now I want to go back and play JC3 (which is a better game my opinion).

My dad literally says the same thing. He actually play JC3 more than JC4.

Been having a hell of a time trying to get my Vega 64 working with my eGPU enclosure (Razer Core V1).

Between not having my laptop recognizing it, random crashes and general finicky things, I’m getting beyond frustrated. At least I have figured out the recognizing thing. Laptop needs a restart after I plug it in and it’s good to go, but still unclear as to why that is. It has no issues with Green team cards (tested with a 1070 and a 2070) being plug and play with no restarting required. The random crashes I think might be due to power draw, but I don’t know for certain, going to try it out with a different eGPU enclosure that has a 500W unit and see what happens. Think the Core V1 only has a 325 or 350W unit in it, and I believe the Vega 64 has a TDP of 300W? So with 40 or 60W going to the laptop, there’s not enough juice. With a pretty decent under volt the card seems more stable, but still taps out in some games.

All in all, pretty pleased with having an eGPU set up I travel with, and am almost convinced to ditch my desktop set up in favour of having this. It handles basically everything I play with ease, despite the approximately 15% performance loss from not using an external monitor.

My favorite part is getting in an attack helicopter and blowing stuff up while Rico hums "The Flight of the Valkyries" in the background.

I absolutely hate the controls in the airplanes though. Can't quite seem to get that right to do a strafing or bomb run, never mind an actual dogfight.

Are you my dad? Do you get your child* to beat stuff for you after hours of frustration as well?

Hah... well not that I know of anyway....

Actually, I've never let my kids finish something for me in a game. My tagline on steam is "Gaming through persistence".

I played (solo) the beta of Ghost Recon Breakpoint.
The map is huge, the scenery is pretty but it is just glossed over version of Wildlands. Same game play, same map design. I will enjoy playing it even though I think the game doesn't offer much variety in game play. I will definitely have to find more games to play before the other games I am looking forward to are released.

Breakpoint seems like a Division game more than Ghost Recon. Idk. It's just such a far cry from the older games, I can't get behind it.
