LOL, JK....but seeing some of the initial comments (2014) about this car is pretty good.

Are you a turn and mash the throttle guy or a turn and feel the rear grip kinda guy?
Yeah one of the reviews said you could just mash the gas mid-corner and the car would initiate a drift then correct itself. Sounds a bit artificial to me.

While I agree, tuner don't care about that kind of stuff.

They are all about "how far can we push it", and "how much HP was left on the table".

I have considered trading in my Toyota 4Runner for one.

I had a 2011 STi hatchback and I liked it a lot, and regret selling it. I think this is a way to get a usable rocket ship again.

One other thing, my STi had a bit of "push" or understeer. I read that they dialed that out a lot with the new WRX and STi, but they don't have a Hatchback. The Focus adjustable with where the power can go? Does it understeer ot oversteer etc...

I know your driving>mine so I value you what you have to say over say Consumer Reports that will say stupid stuff like "Nice Stereo and good sunroof, Turbo was too loud though...7/10"
Not out yet.. mine hasn't even been selected for build scheduling yet. Not in a hurry so I'm cool with that, it'll suck to start seeing them at the track though when mine isn't here yet

Eh, you can find them at MSRP. I did within 15 minutes of starting the hunt.

Harder to now of course since so many are spoken for.

Fiesta RS would ROCK but no word on that happening (no real word, just clickbait claims). Ford has never run two RS models at the same time. (which doesn't mean they can't obviously).

My biggest concern with the RS is the electronics. I feel like it might be too GTR-ish.

But at least it has a real transmission

I love the Fiesta ST also. It's my backup plan if I don't like the RS.

The real problem is that the clutch packs are at their max split. Any added power just goes to the front wheels ruining the balance. It should take plenty of more power, it's just going to get less and less balanced when doing so. The 70% is marketing crap, there's a certain torque level that the clutches can physically transfer so upping the power doesn't add much more power to the back. It shouldn't grenade anything under normal levels either but clutches will wear out more quickly I'd bet.

Yeah I kept seeing people "buying them" so I thought maybe they were out in the bigger cities. I live in middle of nowhere Idaho so it wasn't really impossible for other places to have. In fact a dealership in Boise had one for sale but it was in "Transit" and it was "Call for Price"...so you know, typical dealership games.

I do look forward to what you have to say about it when you get.

I have an idea...make a thread once you accept delivery
