Looking to buy a used 86 twin

I will be using it for daily driving year round (including snow)m autocross and maybe track days. Cheaper is better, so definitely used. Is their any fundamental difference between the Scion or BRZ. Or improvements from 2013 though 2015. Benefit of limited between premium. ( heated seats would be nice). I will be selling my 95 miata to do this. Plans are to keep it stock so I can run in street class. Can you fit 4 tires in it?

Fits 4 tires easy. I fit 225/45/17 on 17x8 though its tight. Stock size is easy.

Performance wise very little difference between models and years especially for DS. Some improvements to the '15-'16 for reliability mainly if you track earlier models plan on replacing coilpacks, nbd if you're not a frequent track rat imho. Cars built before 3/13 have a bad tune that could lead to engine knock on fast third to fourth gear shifts.

Early frs is lightest but you won't care because heated seats and sounds like brz amenities are appealing. Four 17x9s fit in the back no problem so 17x7 autox wheels will be no problem, I usually change the night before and drive on them (or leave them on for a few weeks straight since my commute is short). Have fun!
