Question Fluid replacement.

So I've been seeing a bunch of posts on facebook and other places about people changing their tranny and diff fluids to Motul 300, they say their driving experience has been multiple times better than before. So I was thinking of doing the same thing but before I change mine, I would like to know what would be good for my area.

I'm in Maryland. It gets very cold here in winter. I'm planning on doing it before it gets too cold. I lived in Philly before I moved here 2 months ago. Not too far from where I am now, only 120 miles away and temperatures are pretty much the same. Winters can get as cold as 0 Fahrenheit. So what would be the best fluids to use for my location?

Thanks in advance.

@CSG Mike or @AZP Installs should be able to shed some light on this question.

I use Motul 300 for trans and diff. It doesn't get too cold here though, so I can't speak to its cold weather capabilities.

Try Redline MTL or MT85. I tried MTL, which is 75w-80. Lighter weight helped on cold weather shifting. I wouldn't worry about changing now though since it's not that cold.

Just my opinion...

This in the transmission http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/de...7066&ppt=C0207

This in the differential http://www.redlineoil.com/product.aspx?pid=40&pcid=4

It gets pretty cold up here as well.
