I'm just happy there's an option at all. It sure is expensive, so it comes down to how badly you want it.

Is this 100% for factory seat though? Also, wouldn't "Drivers side" in Japan be our passenger side?

3 inches lower is very impressive though.

Those pictures are of the nagisa seat rail which is for aftermarket seats.

I'm now thinking that I want to bolt the seat right to the floor with a simple bracket. I don't need any adjustments, its not like I will let anyone else drive my car. (when I get it)

It was a nice thought but clearly the guys that had a bracket in development from the summer have other things they are working on.

Has anyone removed the drivers seat? I couldn't find any pics of the stock bracket on the net. I'll go to a dealership and get some parts diagrams I guess.

Going to talk with a local company to talk about lowering brackets. I'll see if they are interested in doing a small production of this for oem seats.

I would prefer keeping the fore and aft sliding so my wife can drive.

What difficulties should we expect to come across?

I don't know, but I'm following this closely. Thanks for the effort. I would really like to see the back of the seat base lowered as much as possible, but leave the front of the seat base at the existing height. That should get us all some extra headroom and extra thigh support. If there were a product out there that lowered the entire seat evenly I don't think I would want it.
Although, I suppose I might be able to put spacers in under the front of the revised base. But that's not my first choice.
How does everyone else here feel about lowering just the back of the base as much as possible, but maintaining the current hight of the front of the seat base?

+1.. I need to sit lower,yet keep the oem seat adjust ability..

I've been watching this thread for over a year, hoping someone would do it. My only request is that it also work with the BRZ heated seats. I believe the heating element sits lower than on non heated seats.
