Whats so costly is the prep work to get it ready for paint. You may be able to sand this down and line the bumper back up. then all you need to do is have it painted.

This type of damage should not cost a lot of money to repair.

Easily $500 repair.

The picture doesn't do the damage justice. I feel like I could get the paint back to okay condition with clay bar, but the corner of the quarter panel is dented in about an inch or so.

Just thought I would update the thread. I was eventually hit a second time in the same exact spot in the parking lot of traffic court lol, go figure... Anyways the asshole took the paint off of my rear bumper but it didn't make the dent any worse. I finally got around shopping around and I found a guy named Kevin http://m.yelp.com/biz/california-den...-repair-tustin super nice guy, he does good work and he even took out a ding on my door! For 100 bucks I couldn't be happier. I took some shots at the gas station last night, so they aren't the best pics.
