A lot of it seems to be because John is actually willing to communicate stuff and explain rather than just referring people to ECUtek. But that leads to some confusion on my parts of whether John has a special relationship with ECUtek or is just a normal vendor or is their actual representative. Just my .02 :happy0180:
He does seem to have more of a direct line and a lot more info about the company and product. I've also wondered if that was by design or just his own hyper focus.

haha, good question.

It's my choice to stay in the loop of everything

Since I have such a large customer base on multiple platforms and do a lot of beta testing it's very important that I keep almost a daily communication with EcuTek.

It would be cool for you guys to have a sale on occasion featuring discounted tune packages like all the other EcuTek tuners in our community, and like tuners on other platforms. Take APR, for example, in the VW/Audi scene they do great amounts of business and earn loyal customers through their seasonal sales every year. They are by far the most popular tuner on that platform, and I think their seasonal sales have a lot to do with that, along with the tune itself and the customer service.

We're talking about a lot of different things.

Since I did a pretty huge group buy only 6 months ago I'm not sure if I would want to do a sale again so soon.

You should definitely consider it. I remember not having the money to purchase during your intro group buy because I had just gotten my BRZ and was still breaking it in.

This forum has blown up since then with a big influx in members. Six months ago there were lots of folks still waiting on their cars and still putting in orders for cars. IMO, now that your tunes have given the business a good rep, a sale would bring in lots of folks that are still on the fence about which tuner/tuning platform to go with. I've been closely following how this market has developed and by the end of this year my trigger finger will be getting very itchy.

I also find it commendable that your business has begun to scale itself with the addition of Rich. With that additional human capital I think you guys could pull off another big sale sometime in the future.

Rich or John, either of you mind addressing this? ^^^
