I'm down for this drive. After EoS last year i dont really want to drive Mines anymore lol. Too many bikers and close calls.

I wonder if it makes more sense to take 101 up to Fortuna and go back on the 5, or take 5 up to Red Bluff and 101 back?

Anybody interested in a mid-morning drive to Alice's and maybe beyond on Saturday morning?

I haven't done that drive yet and missed it when you guys went a month or two ago.

Weather should be perfect that day.

I've got all of Sunday morning "free" as part of my father's day present. I was thinking of hitting Salmon Falls and maybe up to Chilibar and down to Placerville for breakfast. @kakacarrotcake

Yeah, I am considering it. If you are coming, we'll definitely start out on the I5 side.

What meetup & drive start time were you thinking of? Any particular spot you had in mind to meet?

Assuming you'll be starting in San Jose, any route in mind?

I'm interested, I might have to break off early to be back home by 10:30. I'm driving out to Napa for Fathers Day.

Meet up at Alice's around 9am for the drive, then leave on 84 to the coast while it's still pretty early.

Then drive back out on 84 and get early lunch at Alice's on the way out.

I don't know that area so if there's a better spot to meet up outside of Alice's so we're not taking up their customer spots that'd probably be better.

I can do either way. Judging from the distance, this looks like an "all day" type of drive, so I may have to turn around halfway and head back towards I5 since it's quite a ways to come back around.
