135k Miles on Engine. 110k boosted miles; still going strong

I think the longevity test was passed. I drive 100 miles a day to and from work with it. lol. I'm 284whp (mustang) which is about 370 crank hp or 310-320whp on a dynojet. I think at this power level, it will last as long as stock. To note, I have been using almost nothing but e85 the last 3 years.
So I deem 300-350whp the safe DD limit.
I full throttle redline it multiple times everyday. I'd say I probably have maybe 5-10k miles of full throttle events.
Which brings me to my next point; I the the FA20 is unique that is can handle double its power on stock internals reliably. I just got an evo x and to run 400whp, you need aftermarket cams. FA20 seem to be able to run 400whp with little issues if you don't have a bad engine.

Now that you've smashed out the "safe power" discussion

You can double down and put the "ethanol corrosivity" arguments to rest

A solid tune and e85 has also been fantastic results for me. The car is also far less temperamental during hot days and my exhaust tips self-clean. Even not driving WOT all the time I also feel a huge difference when I was forced to add 93 octane in the my car because no ethanol gas stations were around. When you are ready to do a tear down or internal engine upgrade pictures of the inside of your engine would be greatly appreciated and added to the internet community concerning ethanol. So many rumors concerning e85 needs to be put to rest.

Oh have you upgraded anything else? Intercooler? Fuel pump? Injectors? All the shops I talk to seem very keen on adding them to the package and it really ups the price.

I've always hear my muscle car buddies talking about vortech blowers outlasting the life of the car. One reason why I went with them. lol. So far it's holding true.

Fuel pump and 700cc injectors. Yeah, these components will throw up the price maybe $500.

But that's only because you're running E85 correct? I don't have that around here so I'll be sticking to 93-94 octane

Correct. If you are running pump gas, no fuel mods are needed. Just don't run you car hard near empty. That's one good way to kill the fuel pump.
