My friend has an actual CF roof on his Evo...wasn't an easy process, but it cuts a good deal of weight and lowers the center of gravity

CF Roof Wrap? It's the modern version of the Landau Roof of the 1970's. What goes around comes around I guess. As ugly on an -86 as it is this old Thunderbird.

Curious of the application of the overlay ... We have all seen bumperstickers impossibly crooked on someones car ... what is the method for applying these - and - if for some reason as we are applying them they are - *gasp* - crooked, what do you do to correct it?

I mean - a roof is a large surface to get EXACTLY correct in fitment

Is there extra material supplied with these so that you actually trim to perfect fit?

soap and water application, and a hairdryer or heatgun. My overlays are precut, but oversized for complete fitment

Can't speak for anyone but myself, but I bought my BRZ because its a fun car! I had the CF vinyl added to my roof and the side mirrors on a SWP and I like the way it looks, so do whatever makes you happy and who cares if it looks "rice". Take a look at my "fix" for the plain and boring dash trim if you want someone to make fun of, I can take it. This car was designed not to be taken seriously, but to have serious fun with, make it your own!
