A Question for those with Short Girlfriends...

I was going to post this in the interior section until I noticed the interior section was for cosmetics. I assume this is an issue? Please let me know if this is in the wrong sections and mods, feel free to move this thread.

So my girlfriend isn't the lengthiest person. She is 4'11" and she doesn't like sitting in my BRZ. She said the seats are nice and the suspensions ride great, but she's still uncomfortable.

It turns out she is uncomfortable because she is unable to see out of my car (As a passenger).

Does anyone else have this problem or do I need a new girlfriend?

Just kidding, but does anyone have a solution or know of an aftermarket seat that allows a person to sit a little taller? Or if there is some kind of shop in LA that can make a bracket that allows the passenger seat to be adjustable.

I've considered just carrying a massive plush pillow for her to sit on but I feel as if that'll get uncomfortable and a bit embarrassing for her. It's pretty much like a child seat haha.

If you guys have this problem please chime in and post your solution.

This seems kind of obvious, but have you adjusted the seat height all the way up?

My wife is exactly the same height. She has the exact same problem. Hates being in my car because she cannot see out. She can see fine when she drives though. I think I read a thread once where a guy put the height mechanism from a right hand drive FRS into his passenger seat for his wife.

This is for the passenger seat. IIRC it is not height adjustable.

My wife has the same issue. Most of the time we just end up taking her car now, or throwing a couple pillows on the seat. Fully adjustable passenger seat is probably the only thing my wife misses about my previous car.

LOL

Get her a booster seat to sit on, tell her to start doing squats for more "padding", or increase the CG of your car by installing spacers to lift up the passenger seat. =P

Spacers as in where the seat is bolted down? Sounds like a great idea. Do you think it'll cause the seat to rattle?
