Preliminary Install Manual now on site, under FRS/BRZ kit. Wiring/ Activation under DIY.

Pedal WOT switch/bracket install picture is there.

Thanks Fenton/Bu-Tang/Thatruth2001 for input and vehicle.

Down the road...

So let's say I get into a system and love it but want more boost time down the road, would upgrading the batteries to units with 36 Ahr or could you put something bigger in your trunk? Or is it far more complicated than just batteries?

Wow, just read through the install procedure - I don't think it can get simpler than that.

Regarding the battery, the new specs say it'll run 30 seconds straight, 60 seconds if you're pushing it (I assume good fresh batteries that are warmed up, motor nice and cool, etc.) I'd think in most street situations, or even an AutoX that's plenty. For something like a 20 minute DE event, my hunch is it's more of a matter of how fast you can re-charge the batteries when off the throttle, vs extra batteries in the trunk. Bigger alternator maybe?

Wow, your timing is impeccable. Bu-Tang is testing just that..just yesterday.

The dump battery side is fine, it is the relationship to what the stock alternator is willing to put up with

Provision are integrated for scalability.

Rob

Oh, sorry Fenton you missed out.... since you are on vacation, Bu-Tang is trying some new stuff

I've been thinking along the same lines, I think the point was it's a simple system with great benefits; and all of us are wanting more before it's even done
Although they had me at "Not smoked by an S2000 getting onto the freeway"
I am really looking forward to the final product, and any enhancements that come along later.

How about one of those big 300a alternators the hi-fi guys use?

I'm loving the add on, charge time cut in half pretty much, not that I ever even had issues with the charge time prior, give more details when I spend more time with the car, been a bit busy

Wow just read through about 30 pages and I'm very intrigued. Sorry if I missed it, but for those who have already have the kit, how has it affected your fuel consumption?

No effect on fuel consumption. If you go wot more of course you will use more but once I got back to semi normal driving my mileage came back to where it was
