That's sort of the point, like an automotive mullet, business up front, hauling in the back.

@Tcoat gave some other great examples, and I admit it's not everyone's cup of tea.

What a great way to describe it. Someone get this man a beer.

I think that Levorg concept thingy is pretty good looking actually. The back of it is photoshopped well with the front.

This is identical in colour to the one I had. Even had the stripe down the side although it looks like the stripe up the center of the hood is missing on this one.

I went looking for a 521 model (1968 to 72) a few years ago and there are very few left around. The ones that I could find, that were worth buying, were all over $15K. Talk about increasing value since they were well under $2K to buy brand new. There are exotics that don't see that sort of increase in value.

It's not coming to the US. (Last line in the article.)

I'd love it if it did. The pickins for solid front axle off-road vehicles have become slim. About all that's left are the Wranglers and giant brodozers, and I have no interest in either one. It looks like the resurrected Bronco will get a solid axle, so that may prompt some other manufacturers to rethink this idiotic idea that Americans only want IFS. A new Jimny/Samurai with solid axles would be a fantastic addition to the market.

My Dad bought a white one new in '74. A few years later it became my older brother's. We did a lot of camping and stuff in that little truck. Whenever I see one it brings back fond memories.

I had a UTE once.

The doctor told me to drink lots of cranberry juice.

Sounds a lot like the remedy for a UTI, you should probably consult with a new doctor.

Unless 'Enfection' is some kinda new age word.

I'm not sure I'd drive a Sport UTE (Urinary Tract Enfection). People seem happy with the Sexually Transmitted Infection badge, though.

Yet, even more people go out of their way to get Treatment-Resistant Diarrhea.
