The best auto-cross track in southern OR and maybe northern CA

My local auto-cross track is in southern Oregon, not far from Medford about 30 miles north of the OR/CA stateline off I5. To look at the course, click the link in my siggy. We have 3 86's that compete regularly (with the potential for 3 to 5 more next year) and as of our September race we will all be in STX. I'm moving up from C Stock to STX. I have been racing at this track for 9 years now and it is awesome. It's basically is a miniature configurable road course. Someone said the path around the outside of the course is 7/8 mile. There are 2 places I'm in 3rd and 2 other places I can either hit 3rd for a short time or hold it just below redline in 2nd (I 've got to get the redline moved up). It would be awesome to see some other 86's come out and with us.

I have a friend with a BRZ with some video from a dash cam he puts on FaceBook, I'll see if he has it on youtube. I have some video of/from my tC2 that I'll try to dig up. Pretty much if you go to youtube and search "autocross medford" you'll find a ton of videos.

The track and event are freakin awesome and cheap for what you get. Friday and Saturday is open practice with timers set up to display times and SUnday is the actual timed events.

Here's a video my wife took with her phone of one of our events. I think this was when the car was showroom stock except crash bolts and an alignment.

A friend of ours that races a tC just ordered an FRS to race and another friend with an STI is trading it in for a BRZ. Next year our STX class will be a spec class that will allow a WRX to play in. Should be a fun year next year.
