Shell URT Advanced / / Sonoco 260GTX // Race Fuels

Has anyone ever tried mixing these fuels to either 91 or 93 ? they are both no lead/ no ethanol and URT advanced has better performance properties than E85 with the same 'motor octane' rating of 105 .. if mixed 1=10 ratio in 91 theoretically it should yeild 92.5ish 93 lets say(just like having a 10% ethanol added to 91 to make 93) but with no crickets + all the properties that it has to offer resistant to detonation and being a race fuel .. ???? who has a good mix for turning shit gas into good gas :P (no octane booster pls) btw 260gtx is only 98 octane would need to be cheap to be worth it

Crickets are not caused by ethanol. Also, the fuel manufacturer should be able to tell you about splash blending and weather or not there are potential issues with doing so. There are some other high octane additives designed for blending like Torco Accelerator that would be easier and probably less expensive in the long run, though not sure on the chemical properties of the Torco, i had planned to buy a case and do a 100 octane tune but switched to E85 instead.

Didn't think that 10 perecent ethonal in 91 was 93octane rating...its 91 as said on the pump, at least in my eyes if add 10 percent ethonal made it 93 they would charge for the 93 price. Also it is up to 10 percent no all the time 10 percent
