Awesome, front and rear?

It's not much of a concern as it is a "I'm not tracking the car on stock pads so I may need something quickly.. crap"

You think DTC-30s would be overkill for this car?

If I recall yes but I'm at home now.

I haven't used them but from what I hear they may be a good fit for this car.

We use a lot of Pagid and Hawk, and will be trying the Carbon Lorraine pads too on an Impreza. I don't know yet what we have planned for the BRZ but Myles may have something in mind already.

I can't find it. Maybe I hallucinated that, but someone mentioned it in the FR-S forum. Can't find a dedicated thread, may have been in passing in another thread.

Andrew, would you be able to comment on the OEM piston sizes? I have some Brembos sitting at home, wondering if the bias will be off with them. The staggered piston may (or may not) be that much of a concern at this moment. These information day by day is killing haha. I dont think my car will arrive untill mid or late June in Canada.

Ps. AST or RC tarmac please!

We'll post a whole bunch of data soon.

There will be tradeoffs going with the brembos, but if you really want the heat capacity (or the look) it may be worth it.

We've been working with KW already for RCE Tarmac coilovers.

AST has their measurements for their coilovers and we will definitely offer them alongside Ohlins, JRZ, etc.

A little off topic, but: What brand of coilovers do you recommend for cars that live in the salt belt?

Awesome! Thanks for the update. I'll look forward to hearing about the release of your coilover and info on this car.

KW's (and by extension our RCE Tarmac coilovers) really are the ultimate for that sort of thing. Not trying to toot our own horn or anything, but their corrosion resistance is just impossible to beat and we've had some customers go through hell and their coilovers stay in great shape. Rarely do I come out and say something like "ours are the best" as that's not my style but really KW has corrosion resistance down nicely. That said a lot of other companies are making some pretty big steps forward in that regard. Ohlins has gotten a lot better than they used to for example. Some still suck.

Yeah, KW's are good for that. On the ones I had the springs did pick-up some rust and lost some paint, but the SS bodies were perfectly fine.

Question to RCE: do you guys plan to supply shock dyno charts with those Tarmacs?

Better be corrosion resistant if you're based in Maryland, hah!
