Any music players on the market that start with your car?

(I also noticed it likes to sleep/turn off quicker then before)

It's a bit of a safety hazard for me cause I want music but dont want to be stopped to have to turn it on :O
Not sure I understand what you mean by sleep. You can however download an app called autostart(?) And affect an app to authentically start on boot

Yeah, same post about rooting.

For anyone who uses google now, can you call someone from the Google now voice search?

Question, can you open up the contacts app and view any contacts? Or download contacts+ and see if your contacts are there? FYI to open the contacts app you can select the pick contact button when trying to voice call someone. Or use this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ree.appetis.de

My contacts don't seem to exist on the HU, even thought they're backed up to the same email.

Maybe install Gmail. Hard to test anything with the ridiculous amount off app space we have

....so anybody got a recommendation for Bluetooth adaptor?
Mine wasn't compatible.
One suggested on Amazon had say in "shipped"status for a month.
My USB one is not compatible.

Anyone know if it's possible to hook up the factory amp to the head unit?
It feels weird not having the rear speakers turned on..

Factory amp does not power the rear speakers, it powers the door speakers.

And yes, there are instructions to send a power on signal to the factory amp in this thread and throughout the forum. It's a little different between FR-S/GT-86 and BRZ though, so make sure you find the one for your car.

The stock amp takes high level inputs and it is only for the door speakers. I just finished my sub install so if you need any help with this send me a pm.

Hey guys...so maybe I'm overlooking an obvious setting somewhere or maybe I finally need to get around to installing Tasker, but every time I start my unit, it sets the volume to 14 automatically. It really bugs me that it doesn't remember what volume I had it on. Is there a way to get it to remember? HUGE first world problem, I know.
