I've had six FWD cars and two RWD. Right now, I have one of each. In the rain I much prefer the FWD one.

Aside from the Subaru Brat, I've never liked the general styling of Subarus. They nailed the hood height perfectly on the twins.

Forget Honda... If Toyota sold the FRS with a proper inline 4 instead of this boxer turd, I'd trade mine in tomorrow.

Ford is doing a 2.3L 320ish HP 5 door hatch, why couldn't Honda do the same?

Also, Honda coupes never did it for me. I'll cast a stone if the 5 door hatch is ugly once they release it.

I dunno ask Honda why they can't do an AWD Platform.

Maybe they don't see the benefit of added weight and lower mpg. I'm curious to see what the RS does on the ring, and how it compares to the current CTR in a head to head, or the Golf R for that matter

AWD platforms drive up the price, increase weight and normally have lower mpg than a FWD platform. Also Honda has been honing their FWD platforms for decades, going AWD for the sake of AWDYO! doesn't make much sense for them.

It sounds like were going to have a 5 door CTR in the future and that is a glorious thing. I've literally been waiting 20 years for this announcement (after the ITR hit our shores) and I'm putting off my decision on the RS and will just wait for the CTR.

It's possible that the RS might be a bit faster, sure. But the interior design and ergonomics of the Civic, the fit and finish, and the overall reliability will be leaps and measures beyond anything VW or Ford can make.

Hey cut them a break! They're just adopting turbo/FI now for the Type R. Baby steps...

2016 Civic coupe spy pics

http://www.civicx.com/threads/2016-h...ction-form.26/

First spy pics of the coupe that I know of and it is looks in keeping with the concept's design...still not sure about the wraparound tails but otherwise not bad.

I'm interested to see what Honda does with this generation of Civic. I've always loved Hondas for their rock solid reliability and the old Preludes, but they just seem to have lost their edge. Hoping this is the revival everyone is looking for.
