Precision Auto on Miramonte/Shoreline and El Camino is familiar with Subarus, as well as muscle cars. They can take care of any of your auto needs, mods, regular maintenance if you're near Mountain View. My cousin is the manager.

I would just like to say since posting this thread, I have done business with StaticNine Garage in South San Francisco and Andrew at Auto Salon Works.

Both have been exemplary to deal with. Big thumbs up to them.

Performance Options in Oakland. Their 86 heads, and the owner is a freakin' genius. Will and can turbo ANYTHING. I don't know them well at all, only heard good things.. I had a couple things installed there, and an alignment done there too. Their kind of assholes though (it seems) if you don't know them. Customer service? Lol, forget about it. I'm sure they've already worked on some frs'/brz's.

Did Static Nine do the suspension parts for you that was mentioned in the original post? I'm thinking of asking them to do some installs in for me as well. Got a email reply from Shane for more details, is there anybody specific I should ask for?

Yes. They are great. Any of them there are good. You can tell them Kevin with the black FR-S with RS3's sent you.

Fyi, I have not had a good alignment from Auto Innovations on 3 different cars. 2 had some residual pull afterwards and the other was out of spec and the shop claimed they could not bring into range. All low mileage/non-crashed cars.

What cars and how low were they?
If the roll center on the front suspension is not within specs or some part is bent or SAI is not within specs or the alignment was not done with a weighted driver's seat, then it will not matter who does the alignment.
These all play a part when doing an alignment.

My last alignment, I forgot to have about 140lbs in the driver's seat, and it does have a very slight pull to the left with just me in there.

Mike is the owner. Has been since I got my STi in 2009 at least. Not sure when he took over

Yep, I was surprised at my results and kept going back since my friends use them and say they are good (first time I went was probably in '06). I don't think they're a bad shop. But, I just haven't personally had a good experience there.

All 3 cars were all stock, low mileage, and non-wrecked. My '05 STI pulled right after I got it aligned there. My S2000 also pulls right (7k miles when aligned, 11k now) ever since my alignment. It didn't pull from the factory. It was aligned with weights in the drivers seat. I'm 165lbs.

I'll be getting my BRZ aligned at Performance Technic, a shop in Pleasanton that specializes in BMW's (modding and service) but does race prep and tire mounting/road force balance on any make.

Bring over some tools, and a 6 pack (maybe some bud) and I'll help you.
