^ Speaks the truth!

I haven't read through this whole thread but I have owned an S2000 and currently own an FRS. It's no secret the S2000 is faster in a straight line but other than that and the fact the s2000 is a convertible, I feel like the way these cars drive and behave are similar. They both feel connected to the road and are both a blast to drive, in my opinion.

Determining which is better really depends on personal preference. I honestly would have never sold my s2k if it wasn't for it being so small inside - I am 6'5 and the S2000 was just too small for me, even with a lowered drivers seat. The FRS, I fit in with no problems whatsoever.

Also, in response to OP - I wouldn't say the FRS' 200hp is "underwhelming", but it certainly isn't the fastest car you'll drive - then again, neither is the S2000...

True, I don't carry anything valuable so I didn't think about that.

My S2000 was supercharged though, so a SC/turbo would definitely be in the BRZ's future, assuming one is extensively tested on the track.

Lots to think about, just need to make up my mind.
In case anyone was wondering I ended up getting an S2000 CR. Its a much more special car than the BRZ for the same price.

Certain CR models had the ac/radio delete.

Good choice. If I didn't care about practicality, I'd probably do the same.

I've loved the S2000 for many many years but would never buy one because I hate convertibles. In terms of philosophy and driving, this comes about as close to a coupe version S2000 as I'll find for a reasonable price. Much love for both cars.

Yep. He just put on the AP Racing brake kit the other week, along with some shiny new Volk CE28Ns wrapped in Z1 Star Specs.
