Installed new Apexi drop in airfilter and adjusted clutch pedal 1/2 turn higher.

Think I'm done messing with clutch pedal height. Feels great now.

Going to install Mishimoto intake hose this weekend and probably wait to put some more miles on before I do anything else

If anyone knows anything about the steering lock up discussed in this thread, please share. Happened to me a few times this weekend.

Some more sewing progress.

My pattern for the center dash piece is janky.. so I've been delaying since I don't want to make a new one! And the piece scares me.. hard to sew

Wrapped the vent trim rings. After messing up a bunch of times.. I was able to get these two pieces done in 2 hours start to finish on my last run. The cutting and sewing only took about 10 minutes. Then a lot of careful gluing.

Made a few drafts for the gauge cluster hood.

I liked the previous design.. but decided to do a more challenging design.

This one took about 3 hours from start (not including making the pattern). I honestly expected worse.. not bad considering only a week or so of experience.

I'll make the final copy with my better material tomorrow.

Thanks man, it's something new so I'm obsessed

I wanted to do the center vent.. but it doesn't look fun at all.

I also didn't know the speaker covers are fused to the US door panel pieces. Ugh.

Installed Mishimoto intake tube and removed sound generator.

Cleans up engine bay a bit and like not having sound generator.

Nice! I like the vent trim rings. It seems like it would look good. Any pictures of them installed yet?

Haha well goodluck! Man I was that way when I was laying carbon fiber all over my interior pieces. That obsession really grabs you lol. Then you try and tell everyone around you how your wrapping your interior in a carbon fiber weave or your sewing leather around your interior pieces with a french seam and they're like.. wut.. lol

Honestly I would be willing to buy a cluster hood like that off of you. If you sewed it i'm sure I could glue it on. Something to think about. I'd make it worth your time for sure.
