I like that you are taking time to learn the ins and outs of this engine! you are a pioneer Mech, are you going for mad powah this time or are you just gonna pick up from where you left off and go one step at a time?

@cf6mech Or @don what happened to the gearset that was being worked on? and how big of a modification would it take to use a beastly TREMEC tranny in this car?

No my tranny is fine at the moment,...but obviously its just a matter of time when I'm making 325ftlbs of torque and the stock transmission is rated at 210ftlbs. BTW the cost of the OEM unit is right around 6k.

We should send an email to PPG in Australia to see if they are going to make a dog gearset for the car

Definitely interested in this, but I got hung up on when I called to ask about pricing and how the process of getting them was done. I am not interested in what they are doing or how they achieve the fitment (they did the leg work for that and I am ok paying to get this done). Mainly want to know If I have to order rods in a specific way, turn around time, and price. As well what measurements are required from me. Have a customer who would like to lower compression and forge there bottom end. Serious buyer here.

Albins is already making me gearsets. PPG wanted nothing to do with anything less than a 20 pc order.

I have 2 sets of rods on Shelf right now. Ready for immediate shipment. If you could give me rough journal #s I can get them close enough to just measure and test on site.
