Need honest opinions on shots for upcoming feature!

Well we played around with some light painting shots for an upcoming feature of mine. Wanted to get some opinions about what other people thought about them. Yay or nay to using these types of shot in the feature? What you like or dislike about the pictures? All opinions welcomed.

Not a big fan of the sky colour in the top one. Sort of lose the carlines in it and they just sort of fade into each other.
The blue sky however rocks the car's lines.

I dont really like the lighting in the pictures seems unnatural and more like a spotlight. And yea the angles are kinda weird

i like both but a diffuser over the light source would help. On the tail lights in the first picture all the glare is distracting. Another option would be to shine it at a further angle (ie driver's side) however that would limit you from lighting the car correctly on the passengers side.

as a whole though i like them

They're cool, the bottom one I think is awesome. I think the top doesn't show off the 86's hips as much as it could. But damn nice car either way.

The look of the back of the car is ruined by the missing exhaust pipe, and the front is ruined by the missing grille and the yellow lights. I'd shoot this car from the side.
The foreground and the background is boring, I'd try finding a better location.
Night sky and dramatic lighting is cool.

second shot, drop a couple EVs on the exposure and up a couple on the fill flash to comphensate.

I'm a fan of the dark blue - ultramarine, if you will.

Wheels should be straight. Angled takes away from everything...

First that's an oil cooler not an intercooler. Second the exhaust is not missing he's just converted to a single exit.

The car is designed to have two. It's missing. Get over it. That's not the point of the thread. I didn't say it looked bad.

Thanks genius. About as smart as thinking that was an intercooler.
