Slip Indicator Light
Hey,
First post is sort of lame but I was driving...perhaps a bit aggressively today...and the Slip Indicator Light came on for a brief second. I read in the manual that it is a malfunction of the VSC/TSC system...so is it anything to be concerned over? I thank the more knowledgeable in advance for an answer. |

You probably did something to cause vsc/traction control to step in for a second

Yea it was a tight corner and I took it kind of hard. So the light can mean that the system was activated? That would make sense.
I just wasn't sure cause I checked the manual right when I got home and the wording was ' malfunction'... |

Nothing to worry about. You just got a wristslap by the "nanny" that's all.

At a guess, I would say that if the light is steadily illuminated there's a malfunction, blinking mid-corner just means that the nanny is doing its job. |

It was only on for the briefest of moments so, as advised, it must have been the 'nanny'.
Thanks for the replies! |

i love when the nannies actually tuck you around a corner, still learning that limit where it doesnt cut speed but does apply light brake to the inside rear tire and it makes you cut a corner

I've actually noticed mine will light up from time to time (usually while doing foolishly sideways maneuvers) even when I've got all the nannies *supposedly* turned off. Kinda curious why that is, and if they're never truly turned all the way off?
