Today: Top 10 reliable car brand

http://wallstcheatsheet.com/automobi...tml/?a=viewall

For sure none can beat Toyota brand and amazingly the Subaru is now climbing on this chart per survey in the last 10 yrs. I never believe in American made cars for the last 20yrs but they all show up on this list too which is great deal. Btw, Just forget the overprice german and european brands !

most of these articles are very biased against the big 3. Its refreshing to see we made an impact on at least 1 survey. I don't bleed mopar blue, and I HATE anything GM has ever had apart of, but I can honestly say the quality control of the big 3 is FINALLY catching up!

That has been the case for a while now. It just takes a while to change the old biases.

Gave up my Cruze for a BRZ, but until the end I was impressed with the quality and reliability of that car. Plus it had a fantastic interior and everything was really well thought out. Just a bit slow. US auto manufacturing really has turned a corner.

That looks like it's basing "reliability" on a linear regression of price based on initial depreciation, which seems questionable to me (since residual value is dependent on many other things than simply reliability). It also seems like it will bias it away from european cars pretty substantially (since reliable or not, they depreciate like crazy). It'll also probably bias it away from higher end/luxury vehicles (which tend to depreciate faster). Still, it's an interesting list...
