I read somewhere on this forum where a few members ordered it online and it took ~2 months to get it delivered, depending on when the batch of shipment comes.

So details of the MY 2016 have come out today and I'm very pleased with the new changes. I have no choice to be happy with them anyway. Here are the details from Scion!!!

The 2016 FR-S will be available beginning of June!

Just wanted to ask now that you are going to get the 2016, are you paying full or financing? If it's too personal, feel free to not answer.

Reason I'm asking is I have a plan to wait till I save up enough for a big down payment and then take on super small monthly payments. I just want to see what other guys who are still in the buying stage are doing.

I plan to just buy it outright, it's actually coming out earlier than i planned so I may have to finance a little bit and through my credit union, so the dealer gets the full amount and I may get $150 monthly payment which I can handle. Time will tell.

You would happen to have any news on the 2016 BRZ? I'm planning to buy one this summer. After reading this thread about the updates the FRS is getting I'm hopping the BRZ will also get the rear view camera, and will be available in June

The camera is added because they are gradually becoming a legal requirement. With that in mind the BRZ is pretty much guaranteed to get it. The changes to one are usually pretty similar with the other.

My guess is all at once. Not based on any known fact but just a guess from prior years.
