Anyone had theirs tinted yet ? or better still has anyone tried removing the light ? the ones ive read involve removing the whole parcel shelf etc.

Thanks in advance
Sorry to be so off topic OP.

If anyone needs tinting contact ground zero tints in blacktown, they done my 86 for 160 and they're comfortable doing other 86's. Done it 2 weeks ago and they didn't need to remove 3rd brake light they just used a larger squeegee to manouver around and its a very good job even heat sealed the fromt windows so the film doesn't get ruined when the window opens as the door gets opened..

Just of interest, anything making any rattling noises after they tinnted your windows and put your rear parcel shelf back on?
I always worry that it'll never be the same after taking it apart once and something will start rattling...

kurosaki, i have had no problems with rattling....however the tint still has some bubbles in it....i think its because of the near freezing temps here ......they are getting better...but if by Monday they are no good will be taking it back to toyota.....

My dealer had their first 86 tint come back because of the auto window up & frequent use in the first 24 hours. They now hold vehicles for 48 hours ... which they will do with mine

Got mine done at Reflect Effect, didnt have to remove the brake light either, used a big squeegee too. was $230, but seems to be a really good job, no bubbles or problems with the window either.

That's good, shows at least some people know how to tint hard locations then.. all about store location and preferences I guess. Others seem to cut around or remove the whole rear panel for some reason.. hoe long did your one take?
