Why does everyone hate on this? You may not be 100% into it's style and yes it has stretched tires but really, who cares? The tires are 30mm wider than factory and I'm sure better compounds. Everyone assumes that you need 305's on the front of a RB car or it's "lame" when really a 245 is probably more appropriate for anything other than 600+hp or a heavy 2j swap. The car isn't even low enough to really jack up the roll centers....

Just hate filled ignorance...

Ignorance? You mean we're wrong in saying the wheel should have a PROPERLY SIZED TIRE ON IT? Look at Tirerack for recommended wheel widths for what he is running. I'm not hating on his sense of style, as stated I said it's not my car, the guy can do whatever he wants to it. As per tire and wheel manufacturers, he is doing it wrong though. There is no point in a super wide wheels with a really stretched tire other than looks.

You tried to bring the conversation into what he needs... Look at his wheels, retard.

Sounds like you may be the ignorant one.

Just like the 400rpm 2hp drop is shockingly bad with 5000rpm 10hp gain?

the owner must be a pure attention whore. Regardless, TU for the setup. I like the idea, "it's gonna drive like crap anyway, why not go all out?"

@Jhon19lopez I applaud you for your build but I think what people are trying to say is your running a big risk pushing so much power and torque on stretched wheels. Your going to end up popping the tire of the wheel and destroying your ride

And perhaps killing someone else....that would be wack yo!

People have a right to hate if you want to be unsafe. A Corvette or Camaro with 600hp/ftlbs can already spin the rim inside a properly mounted tire. This extreme cookie cutter BS is just dangerous especially with that powerplant.

This is not my daily and most drift cars run stretched tires with mad power and to clear things up this wheel set up is for shows when the swap is complete I'll be running 1 piece wheels with better tire size when I track or drift

Grow a brain then get back to me. You still don't comprehend what I said.

Read my sig, my car is prepared just fine. By the looks of your grammar I can see you're putting a ton of money into your car, and you haven't put a dime into your education. Why bring it back to money though? I could be childish and say come out to the track and see if you can use what you got, but that would bring me down to your level.

Toss all that money into it then put the car on those tires. Hilarious.

All hating aside, congrats on having the funds for this build. It's just not my style and I don't understand why someone would do it. (not that you necessarily have to defend yourself either)

Yeah, enough brain to not care about 2hp drop for 400rpm untuned.

Also being belligerent and abusive to others does not automatically mean you have a brain.

That's good to hear you've thought that ought.

I'm pretty sure the drift cars have their beads seated though, of course they want minimal sidewall flex.

GL with your build!

All and all , I think this build will be a head turner for sure, one is being very unique and two is being able to think outside the box .

Ppl can give all their opinion they like , but the end of the day , it's your car and money ... As long as you like it then they can ...... , u know the rest .

Keep up with your build @Jhon19lopez ! Go for it man!
