Exhaust sounds?!

I think it be interesting for people to post some sound clips or videos of exhausts they think sound good and would want on their fr-s/brz.
To me i love the hks sound

sounds deep but not to deep and not ricey at all.

(Searched for this didn't find anyone asking)

How can you judge the sound of an exhaust that will go on a boxer engine based on one fitted to a L4?

What I want for this car is a sound that will tell you it's not a normal 4 pot, that something is different and more exotic, but that is not annoyingly loud and doesn't have any drone at low speed.
An I want it to SCREAM when you go over 5000 rpm. Actually I'd like it to sound like it revs higher that it does for real, some high pitch noise...
Basically I want a VTEC sound with some Subaru burble.

It will be quite a challenge ;-)

You cant. However I never said you could. I just asked for sounds that people enjoy and thought it would be a fun talking point.

But that would sound cool i always enjoyed the sound of vtec.

I want it to sound like a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG. Very guttural and manly.

i want it to sound like my MR2. i don't like the way the exhaust on that RSX looked. i don't care much for cans sticking out the back. the muffler section should be separate from the tip, IMO.

this video was taken about 60whp/70ft.lbs ago, but you get the idea...

the sound is similar to the stock sound of fr-s. Not extremely close but not far off. IMO

I have no vids but I have heard inline 5's with after market exhausts sounding amazing. For example there are vid of the Volvo C30 that sound great. Lexus LFA sounds amazing in person, never heard it sound as good in a vid thought. I like moderate volume levels with a lot of rumble and pop in the low rpms with nice decel pops. I like to hear individual exhaust pulses with out sounding like it has a huge cam, if you know what I mean.

Yeah, I personally hate the looks and sound of the big exhausts. It just screams ricer to me. 4 cylinder engines are hard to make sound good. When you modify the exhaust, it makes a lot of sound without going very fast which is embarassing IMO. LOL

I probably won't modify it unless there's a really clean looking and finely tuned sounding option that doesn't sacrifice any power.

You can get a clip of what the 2 HKS exhausts will sound like for this car here:

The Legamax Premium doesn't sound too bad... Still kinda big though.

The Greddy prototype exhaust on the FRS sounds pretty nice to me.
There's a bit of soft burble and pop which is amazing.
