That ought to make that puppy scoot right along.

Besides, I could work on the engine, enjoy to listening to the back two barrels of the carbs kick in and, with real dual exhausts, and straight thru glass packed mufflers, enjoy the sound of a real engine working.

change it to ITB and fuel injection, and i'm good.

frozen mornings and carbs never got along well together.

but they do take a bit more to get going. though it is fun to leave an oil slick behind with all the unburnt fuel(many classic owners in the midwest either haven't a clue how to tune a carb, or choose to run them so rich the tailpipe drips.)

I know that - I was around when they changed that measurement - which pissed me off, because the car I had lost power over night -

220 some HP would still be enough, when you couple it with 285 ft lbs of torque (gross?) -

Sound is a bit too aggressive sometimes. I have to control my throttle with civilians around
When the engine, supercharger, and exhaust scream together it is like

Ya, I hear that. I still have my cut in half, smashed head (to make it a British Standard Whitworth size) , open end wrench, to adjust the side draft carbs on my old MG. Yep, many ah frustrating hours with that wrench, to try to synchronize those two carbs -

I got good at it.

Humidity went up or down? Adjust the carbs
Temperature changed? Adjust the carbs.
Going to cruise all day? Adjust the carbs.
Hitting the strip? Adjust the carbs.
Something doesn't sound or smell right? Adjust the carbs.
