NRG Hub hard to turn?

So the other day I installed my NRG Hub with a DND Wheel bolted directly to the hub (so no quick release) and its fairly difficult to turn the wheel both left and right. Is this common with aftermarket wheels or is something wrong on my end?

Any input is appreciated!

Something is wrong, shouldn't have any change to steering effort.

Hmmm Ill take it off when I get home and take a look. I think it could be possible that I tightened the hub too much. Maybe causing friction against something, although it didn't look like it

Is your new steering wheel smaller than the OEM?

Idk what the OEM diameter is, but a smaller wheel can make steering feel heavier. However, if it's actually "Difficult" to steer, then there is likely a different problem.

Its not like I am fighting the car to steer but its definitely feels a lot "heavier". I think it could be possible that the wires that I tucked beneath the hub could be tangled in some fashion causing resistance.

Fixed it!

Took the hub off and moved around the wires I had tucked beneath it. Not only did this correct the "heavy steering", it also fixed the steering angle sensor issues I was having which was throwing an ABS and Traction light.

Got any pics of how close it is compared to stock?
This is the same setup I wanted to do without the quick release, but can only find NRG short hubs.
